I set up Calm Seas Marketing over ten years ago to offer flexible, expert support to businesses that need help with their marketing, whether that’s leading strategy, delivering a project, or simply being a reliable partner when things get busy.
Previously, I served as a marketing and communications director in London, working across various sectors, including education, technology, healthcare, and professional services. That experience taught me how to build brands, shape messages and run campaigns that get results.
Today, I help businesses plan, grow and communicate with clarity. I also offer copywriting – from creating content from scratch to refining what’s already there, so it’s sharper, clearer and more effective.
Calm Seas is all about making marketing feel less overwhelming – and more like progress.

What's in a name?
I named the company Calm Seas Marketing because I love the sea.
Staring out at a vast horizon fills me with excitement: places to go, things to do, and goals to achieve. As Marketing can be a bit like this the word ‘sea’ had to be in the title!
I also liked the idea of ‘Calm Seas’ because the right marketing services can help navigate the sometimes-turbulent waters of commerce with confidence and ease.
Finally, if an organisation needs help with marketing, I can offer a steady hand and a calming influence to steer the marketing ship and help grow the business.
